Album Cover

Well I'm eventually hoping to use this as an actual album cover for myself, so some of the other songs are mine. The other songs are just songs i either enjoy listening to or playing It's been something I've said to myself and others a lot this year, so it felt appropriate as the title Because most of the pictures are darker, almost grayscale, any color pops and draws your attention in I had to blend the orange of the sky into the rest of the picture to make it look real, and that was extremely difficult at first As always, camera raw was used a lot to make certain colors or effects pop I love every inch and pixel of this. It's as perfect as I could want it, thats why I want to use it as actual album artwork Literally nothing

Still Lives

My favorite picture is the skate. The old rustiness of the image is really cool. I used direct lighting and adjusted levels in photoshop. I love that I was able to create an ethereal light almost like a water is being cast over the shells. I used colors (or as close as I could get) to the subjects picture.

Cinemagraph Response

1. What was your team’s overall concept and did you succeed in crafting the cinemagraph the way you intended? -I feel the cinemagraph came out perfectly. The general idea was executed perfectly (props to Zander the man killed it). 2. Were you more involved in the creative, photographic, or technical portion of the process, what did you do? -If I'm being completely honest, Zander took the photograph, edited it, and Courtney did all of the shots. The idea was left up as a collaborative effort and the input was very democratic between the three of us. 3. What would you have done differently when creating your cinemagraph? -I'm perfectly happy with the way the cinemagraph turned out. The only nitpick I have was that the still frame used with the video wasn't perfect, but it still turned out amazing. 4. What would have made this project easier to understand or create? -Not much to be honest. 5. How was the team dynamic - great, good, fair, poor, and did ever...

Action Shots

My favorite pictures are pr obably the spinning dice ones because they were quite simply the easiest to capture In every single picture the subject is almost perfectly in focus and the background is blurry unless we were trying to blur the subject The black and white definitely adds drama to the shot of me "punching" Dylan, but it almost seems to freeze the die in the space more

Video Questions

I connect with the last photographer the most because I take a lot of pictures of my dogs too. Look for more of the background and offset the focus to the right of left more. I like candid and action the best because you can see the more subtle emotions and the pictures are more true to life.
